After a week with no electricity, (Oklahoma Ice Storm 12-07)

no online poker, no cable, no hot water, no microwave

it's amazing what a person will do!

Why why why do children like to do puzzles in a time like this?

They got bored putting it together (after FIVE minutes)

then started complaining again about no TV AGAIN!

I started picking up the pieces and putting them back in the box.

WHY was I picking up this mess?

I HATE PUZZLES!!!

I would never get the stupid thing back out and put it together

and if I did what would I do with it

Glue it together and hang it on my wall? (NEVER)

Put it back in the closet? (WHY)

Sell it at a garage sale for a dime? (NOT)

Use it for fire starters? (MAYBE)

Someone HAD to end the madness!

SO.........

I painted some of the pieces, wrote some crap with my sharpie, splattered some paint here and there........this was the first time I got REAL satisfaction out of a stupid puzzle and I didn't even have to hide the last piece in my pocket to do so!

There is probably a gazillion puzzles in my storage shed that have never been opened.

How did they get there?

Where do they come from....I don't buy them!
